Painting has been a passion since childhood. Although it was not my long life profession, I did not stop painting since more than twenty years. After I obtained my Ph.d in psycholinguistics and after teaching at the university and working in computer arabisation, I decided in the year 2000 to consacrate myself to my passion for painting.
In order to deepen my knowledge in this domain, I undertook studies in Arts at the Institute Mission Renaissance of Montreal with the painters Hélène Béland and Daniel Brient (2000-2004), and I enriched my formation with several painters of which Dominique Sarrazin.
In Paris from 2004 to 2006, I continued to learn various technical in the workshop of the painter Catherine DE Bretagne.
At the time of my stay in France, I participated in several expositions. I also exposed my works to my return to the Quebec at Ville De Lorraine- Maison Garth. Currently I direct a workshop in acrylic to the cultural Center of Cartierville to Montreal.
Madame Raja Hammoud, artiste peintre, a été attirée par les arts dès l’enfance et n’a jamais cessé de peindre depuis plus de vingt ans. Après son doctorat et plusieurs années dans l’enseignement universitaire et dans l’arabisation de l’informatique, elle a décidé en l’an 2000 de se consacrer à sa passion pour la peinture.
Afin d’approfondir ses connaissance dans ce domaine, elle a entrepris des études en Beaux Arts à l’Institut Mission Renaissance de Montréal avec les peintres Hélène Béland et Daniel Brient (2000-2004), et elle a enrichi sa formation auprès de plusieurs peintres dont Dominique Sarazin.
À Paris de 2004 à 2006, madame Hammoud a continué de s’approprier diverses techniques à l’atelier de la peintre Catherine De Bretagne.
Lors de son séjour parisien, madame Hammoud a participé à quatre expositions au Centre culturel canadien, à l’Ambassade du Canada et à l’UNESCO
